Topics / Activities: From Practice to Theory Photography as a Phenomenology of the Face Lecture by Mr. Antonni Cuesta From Theory to Practice The Portrait as Project: Inspiration, Pre-visualization, Light Design, Publication Studio Workshop by Mr. Niko Villegas Date: August 17, 2024 | 10AM-4PM (With Breaks) Venue: Sunny16 Studios, Unit 109, 30 Matino, Diliman, Quezon City, 1101 Metro Manila Fee: Php2,500 Early Bird: Php1,950 Objectives: - To provide a deeper understanding for portraiture and photography in consideration of both theoretical and practical aspects. - To elevate the appreciation of the creative process underlying portrait photography which includes tradition, intentionality, and process management. - To provide beginner and intermediate photographers a space to improve their skills in developing and lighting a portrait photography project, but with the important inclusion of principled creative choices along the process. At the end of the program, it is expected that participants will gain a deeper appreciation of portrait photography, which covers both theory to practice.
